Survivable - Capable of surviving.
My blog, sharing the details of a life as a stroke survivor, life's ups and downs and a place to give God praise. This journey...
Hi Sara G, When our church was building the auditorium we're now using, the pastor invited each of us to take a felt marker and write our favorite Bible verses with promises on the cement before they laid the carpet. That way, when we sing "Standing on the Promises." we really are! My husband and I wrote Matthew 19:26 and Phil. 4:13. Your blog is a blessing and I will follow it. Thanks so much for following Saved by Grace! Love in Christ, Laurie Collett http://savedbygracebiblestudy.blogspot.com/

It's been a long time since I've heard this song.
Thank you for posting it.
I was singing right along, with my hand lifted up.
One of my favorite hymns. I can remember singing this in church growing up.
We still sing this song at my church. Always brings back memories. And future graces.
May He find us Standing on His promises, holding on with a mighty grip!!
He is Faithful!
Happy Saturday.
Julie
Remembering to stand on those promises sure help in tough times...if we would just remember!
This is an old but wonderful song. I remember singing it as a child. And yet I still stand on the promises of God my Savior. He is faithful.
Blessings and love,
Debbie
