Then Sings My Soul Saturday

Today I'm sharing two songs that meant a lot to me as a child. The first one is instrumental but one that late at night I could hear on the little radio in my Grandmother's dining room. The radio would always be on all day and night. Oh how faithful my Grandmother was in listening to WCIF 106.3 in Melbourne, Florida, Where Christ Is First. At night during the week, when Nightsounds would come on, I can still hear Bill Pearce's voice and this tune at the beginning and ending of his show.

 "Beau Soir" by Bill Pearce

This second song is one that I can remember hearing as a little girl. May you enjoy as much as I do!
Thank you Father for loving the world, that You sent Your Son Jesus to suffer for our sins, died and buried, who was raised on the third day, ascended to Heaven and now sits on the right hand of You God.

I was also blessed to have music in my life as a child, and it thankfully carried over to adulthood. God bless.

Hello Sara. I first heard 'We are the reason' when I was a university student in Fiji. A Continental SIngers grp came to campus and did an outreach. I went with the purpose of making fun of it but God used this song to cause me to begin seeking the truth. I'll be forever grateful that He sought me out when it was the last thing I deserved. Bless your heart for posting this. Many blessings to you. :)

Sara G, the Bill Pearce instrumental is beautiful. I love old memories and it was good to read some of yours. The song, "We Are the Reason" by Avalon was also beautiful and so meaningful. Thanks for sharing these.

Your comments have been so appreciated that you have left on my blog, thank you for your kindness and sharing your experiences.

Have a good day! ♥
